Happy Anniversary to me!

I can’t believe I let my anniversary go right by without any acknowledgment!

December 3rd was my 1 year anniversary being a vegetarian and caffeine free! I have removed from my diet successfully for one full year all meat (including chicken), eggs, milk, and seafood. Most of you know the only thing I kept was cheese. I still feel great, have had no problems sticking with it and plan to continue on this path. If it wasn’t for Joanne sending me this video today I would have forgotten to share this accomplishment.

Only 16 more days till the Christmas Tofurkey! 😉

As for the Caffeine Free part that too has been 100% successful. I have cut my caffeine consumption down from 6 litres a day to ZERO! Almost immediately after cutting out my Diet Coke I went to a vending machine that gave me a free Diet Coke with my Five Alive. I kept it and put it in my fridge as a reminder everyday I see it that I have the will power NOT to drink it. It has been an interesting mind experiment over the past year. On the worst of all days I see it, think about drinking it because “I deserve it” and in the end decide not to. It is crazy seeing the mind games we play with ourselves.
