Circuito Mágico del Agua

Last night our group of new friends from the Backpacker’s Family House hostel in Lima headed out to visit the Circuito Mágico del Agua. It is a giant light, water, and music installation her in Lima that has the guiness book of world records largest fountain in a public fountain park. Or at least that is what I think the brochure is saying. It was only a 10-12 soles taxi ride to head to the fountains from Backpacker’s Family House and then it was only 4 soles to enter the park. You should time it to arrive for one of the showtimes at Fuente de la Fantasia.

This is a video of us making a congo line through one of the fountains.

This is me running around in my first fountian “trying” not to get wet 😉

These are just a few of our favorite pictures of the park.

Forgot to mention that Jens also cooked us an amazing meal before we all headed out. Great sauce from scratch, pasta, mozzerella cheese, and we had nice Argentinian and Chilean wines.

It’s been snowing here and there, not accumulating, but it’s still in the air!!! Enjoy the warmth and heat!! We’re off to Florida tomorrow, so we’ll have to get together once we’re both back and do coffee!!

Absolutely – that’s what made me think of it…I’m not sure you’ve perfected his art yet…might be out of practice? 🙂
He’s doing really well – we’ll see how long that lasts, since I’m back in the office in 11 days.

All we need is some music to go with these pics and we have a hit! What a blast! (Were you wondering about the snow because you were planning to come home and write your name in it again? – speaking of fountains)

HAHAHAHA I didn´t even think of that but it reminds me that when our hostel was glued to the American Election they were interviewing some Dutch people I believe it was and the network shared the same name as our 4 leter television network. 😉

    Hi Neil,

I just returned from New Orleans and caught up on the blog. While doing so I realized some things.

    1) I need to go on a trip with you, it always looks like so much fun
    2) I missed way too much! I want to rewind time here while still having the fun that I did down there.
    3) I said thank you to some people in the US and they looked a little shocked :0 I think that’s a major problem
    4) Make sure you don’t forget to add in one receipt of things you are bringing back! I did and now I’m on some kind of WATCH list :[ I was so tired and traveling since 5AM and those guys make me so nervous….YIKES maybe now you won’t want to travel with me.

    Love Becca

LOL you are too cute! I am glad that you had a good time in New Orleans. I am excited to hear about it, let’s do nachos when I get back. As for being scared to travel with you now, that is one of my pet peeves when people mess up at boarder crossings but to deal with that 90% of the time I impose a rule that when entering a country we do so in separate customs and immigrations lines as solos and meet up on the other side. It is only hard to do that when crossing by car LOL
