Britney Listening Party

Nick lent me his copy of the new Britney CD “Femme Fatale”. As I have my own CD release party at my desk today I thought I would catalog my thoughts on the tracks for you:

1) Till the World Ends Rating: – Loved this track from day one on the radio. Didn’t even know it was Britney at first. Probably helped me like it better actually.

2) Hold it Against Me Rating: – I want to give this track a 5 star rating but I just can’t. I LOVE parts of the track, and HATE most of the slow parts. I can’t give a song 5 stars if I am constantly interrupted with blah parts. My guess is I probably need a remix to make me happy.

3) Inside Out Rating: – Not for me mostly because it is too slow for my tastes, but a pretty good track for Britney fans I would guess.

4) I Wanna Go Rating: – Ooooo I love the opening beats! Sweet whistling, that is catchy! Awesome auto-tune! Loves it!

5) How I Roll Rating: – Ummmm what the heck was with that start? Oooo nevermind, liking it now! Cute!

6) (Drop Dead) Beautiful feat. Sabi Rating: – Hrmmmm might take a few more listens to like or hate… might have been better without this Sabi person.

7) Seal it With a Kiss Rating: – Oooo Oooo Weeee Ooooo! Meh, sorta filler…

8 ) Big Fat Bass feat. Will.I.Am Rating: – Love it! I had high hopes when I saw Will.I.Am’s name in the title. Scared I might not be able to listen to it too many times without getting sick of it.

9) Trouble For Me Rating: – Really good! Love the beat! I also love what sounds like an auto-tune of a car that can’t start! I can’t wait to dance to this some night at around 2 am…

10) Trip to Your Heart Rating: – Nightmare notes at the beginning of this song. “Two of US” *shattering of glass*… however that said the song does get better after the 50 second mark. Upgraded to a 3 from a initial 2.5.

11) Gasoline Rating: – Vrooom! Ooooo it was really good until that “Suddenly on fire” garbage. Wow that went from a 4 to a 3 to a 2.5. “My heart only runs on supreme” *Bletch*

12) Criminal Rating: – Peruvian Pan Flute guys in the mall is that you? Nuff said…
