“An average avocado tree produces about 1200 avocados annually.” – OH OH! What have I gotten myself into LOL.
I am excited every day to see the changes my Avocado Tree is going through. Since I was giving the tree some water today it seemed like a good day to bring you an update with some progress photos.
It is ridiculously tall now, you can see in this photo it is well above the door knob
It is really starting to produce some good quality leaves
Check out the colors in the leaves!
I noticed the other day that it had a slight nick to it. I think I might have hit it, lifting my bike out of my living room one day. I can’t wait for it to get nice, strong and sturdy.
When I pinched it back originally I was hoping to get a second branch. No such luck yet. I am thinking about pinching it again to see what happens. I really want it to fill out rather than turn into a bean stalk that pushes through my roof into the neighbours apartment.

Happy Father’s Day Neil! Your tree is looking great!

1200 Avacados, you’ll have to get a stall at the farmer’s market just to sell Avacodos!
Very nice progress, I have to admit I didn’t really think that pit was gonna do anything back when you started this whole thing, look how wrong I was!
