Weekday Veg

Many of you know that I have been a vegetarian now for almost 3 years. Many of you know that I did it more for me, my body, my health, and the environment; The animals were an added bonus. Few of you probably know that I became a vegetarian by accident after a peculiar chain of events during a weekend retreat with Tony Robbins.

My friend David posted the following video on Facebook today that I really enjoyed. It is a much smaller motivational experience than I went through but a little taste of what happened to me that weekend back in Oct 2007. Enjoy!

I have to admit that its an interesting concept that he is proposing… and even the idea of that if you are going to still eat meat to think more about your consumption, where it comes from, how its raised, etc and the impact that can have on your health and the environment. Got me thinking….dangerous concept I know 🙂

Really something to think about, we forget it doesn’t always have to be one or the other, all or nothing, I think we could apply that concept to more than our meat consumption. Thanks for the video it got me thinking too. Uh oh, me and Lesley at the same time you might have bitten off more than you expected Neil!
