Also first dazs with an Austrian kezboard! The switched Z and Y are driving me insane!
So on my last day in Turkey I went back for take two at some of the sights! Turns out part of the reason I was going out of my mind with tourists was that I was in Istanbul during a special festival.
I started back at the Blue Mosque and this time it wasn’t call to prayer so I was able to go inside. This place was much more Holy because visitors were asked to respect the place, cover their shoulders, and remove their shoes.
Then it was off to the Basilica Cistern. An ancient cistern underneath Istanbul. I really enjoyed my visit here.
Apparently part of James Bond, From Russia with love was filmed here. When I get home I am going to have to go back and watch that movie.
Ohhh that last pic looks a little scary but then again you know how big a chicken I am.

Hahaha I thought of you when I passed on seeing Final Destination 4 tonight in German without subtitles! I didn’t like the idea that I would be scared and not know why.
