Move or do the dishes?

I can’t believe that I am up at 1:47 in the morning when I feel tired and work today. The problem is I woke up because I thought I heard someone in my house. Thankfully that wasn’t the case. What was it you might ask?

Well could be only one of two things… Maybe I have a ghost again… Or maybe it was one of the many dishes piled in my sink and on the counter simply adjusting itself… One will never know.

But if I had to bet, it would bet on the dishes tonight. It is rare for me to wake up in my sleep so when I am woken up in that fashion my heart does a little race and I get a shot of adrenaline. Normally my heart beats once per minute or less it seems while I sleep so the jolt is pretty intense.

If you are still wondering about my lack of cleanliness and the mountain of dishes in my kitchen well… I had a good weekend. Friday directly after work I went to mountains not made from dishes to go skiing with some friends. Saturday we skied all day and drove home. That made me very tired and I was supposed to have all sorts of stuff to do today. Thankfully the fresh snow we are getting today in Edmonton canceled all those things and I had the day to myself. Sure I could have done dishes, but buying 6 movies at Blockbuster, picking up snacks and spending the day in bed felt like the better option.

I know they tried to walk away tonight but I am 99.9% sure the dishes will still be there tomorrow. 🙂
