Today on Facebook my friend Tarl’s status was “Tarl asks, ‘What scares you?'”
So far his friends have responded with fears such as spiders, heights, and walking on frozen water. I was surprised at the very initial thought that entered my mind. I decided to post my instant reaction to the question, in hopes that maybe by writing it down will start the ball rolling to overcome it. The internet can be very therapeutic that way sometimes.
Here was my response to “What scares you?”
The possibility of having to break-up with someone. It actually will stop me from giving someone a chance if I have the slightest inclining that it might not work out down the road.
Maybe I should clarify… I am not scared of being dumped, I am scared that I might have to dump someone else. Neil Sedaka said it “Breaking up is hard to do”
vagina. lol. definitely vagina.

Feet! Blech! Ok, that’s more of a gross-out than a fear.
True fear? Disappointing the One who gave me life.

Spiders and falling, and all those strange noises I hear when I’m home alone or the last one in the office.

Oooooooooo that is a good one Nick! Those strange noises freak me out too! I find I am OK with the first few but the more they happen the more I get myself worked up!
That reminds me I once broke a personal record for a 5km X-country ski because my own skis were making a slapping sound I thought was someone following me alone in the bush!

hahaha, thats like if all the lights are off in the basement, when I go up the stairs I get faster and faster in case someone is trying to grab me who has been hiding out down there.
