| You can’t server liquor here after a certain hour, but our shift typically ends at 2:30am. So the other night we went to an “black-market/underground” establishment that appeared to be a den of drinking and gambling. I was ridiculously excited because I live for experiences like this! We had our own private bamboo room with mattresses and pillows and a short table. We were very full from supper so we just ordered beer. I had my very first taste of “Kingfisher” the local beer and it was reminiscent of Heineken. The beer came in 650ml bottles which makes you feel like you had one, when you really had two. The room was light by a very small blue light that gave the effect seen in the two photos above.
