What a great way to end the work day! A group of us from work started doing “The Grouse Grind” once a quarter during my visits. Essentially it is a hike straight up Grouse mountain followed by a Tram ride down. Last quarter we did the BCMC trail but this time we did the official path. I almost bailed 1/4 of the way up but the group gave me a pep talk, we adjusted our pace and continued to the top. My time was 1 hour, 20 mins which is respectable. Fall weather was definitely a great time to do the hike and a bonus was the hauntingly beautiful mist shown above! | Grouse Grind, British Columbia, Canada |

Awesome, and a great shot. I was stopped this morning when I came in to work, I had to get to my office the long way as the main door was shut and I was too lazy to dig out my pass card but I got rewarded when I came around the corner there was the most amazing sunrise happening out the window…the whole sky was pink and orange, I had to take a moment and just soak it in…sometimes it pays to take the long way!

Thanks for sharing Michelle! Totally agree about being rewarded for pushing the extra mile or steps 🙂
