I had this “Hmmmm I wonder?” moment in the line-up at my Starbucks today. The lady in front of me came up to about my knee. She ordered a “Short” coffee. Now you may think I am joking but I’m not. That is a size at Starbucks, it just isn’t on the menu boards.
So as I stood there all excited for my Venti drink I wondered if she ever ordered a Venti drink. Is there some sort of correlation between body size, bladder size, thirst, or do some people get carried away with the idea that bigger is a better bargain? How many times would she visit the bathroom after gulping down 20 ounces?
Only recently with my weight-loss have I started to order smaller items when it comes to food and it kills me that the larger portion is a “better deal” LOL This doesn’t apply to my Starbucks though. I am usually relying on the specific calorie count in my Venti Starbucks drink to act as a soy meal/snack at that time of the day.
PS Mmmmmm Starbucks!

LOL I love that picture, we should do one every year and see how much Danaea grows! 🙂
