If you were following the Itty Bitty Blog or Facebook you would have seen that I was on a mission to see some movies this week at the cheap theater. Many friends answered the call and I have seen two amazing movies back to back.
Yesterday I saw…
Letter to Juliet (2010)
Rating:
I fell in love with this movie the first shot of Italy. I am also happy to report that 95% of the movie is in Italy. Besides the amazing scenery the story line and actors were just as breathtaking. Even though you are pretty sure you can guess how everything will end up, the path the story takes to get you there will delight you and keep you guessing. I saw this one with Michelle & my mom and we all found it quite comical that the young male lead in the movie and I share some personality traits. Needless to say I like him very much!
Then tonight I saw…
Killers (2010)
Rating:
I had a feeling when I saw the first preview for this movie that I would like it. Sure enough it didn’t disappoint. This one had a few great shots of France that were enjoyable, and a few great shots of Ashton that caused some drool as well. Tanja and Lesley also liked it and we shared a few good laughs with the theatre. I am always a bit biased with spy movies, but I would definitely recommend it for mindless fun.
I am glad that you enjoyed them both, sorry to have missed out on The Killers I would have like to have seen it, maybe I can find some time to make a trip next week to see it. I had wanted to see Letters to Juliet since the very first preview I saw and it did not disappoint. Some amazing views, a really beautiful storyline and a couple laughs, always makes a good movie in my book. Thanks for getting me out to see it.
