Thanks to Sue, a blog reader that commented on my last post mentioning Theo Tams, I was tipped off to his newest video. The song is “Wait For You” and the first time I heard the song was when I saw him live last November. I watched the video this morning and his voice and the passion in his facial features still blows me away.

I’m not sure if you would be interested, but I’m letting you know just in case…
If you have a Facebook page, it would great to have you join the FB Group “LETS GET THEO TAMS – CANADIAN IDOL ON ELLEN!!”. It is so hard for a young Canadian artist to get exposure any more, particularly one that doesn’t rely on gimmicks and auto-tune. There are no shows that they can appear on (how I miss Open Mike with Mike Bullard), and Theo doesn’t even get the benefit of appearing on Idol the year after he won as the show is no longer on. To help, fans have started trying to get him on The Ellen Degeneres Show (as she was asking people to suggest International music acts). We’ve been tweeting Ellen and Theo’s sister helped start up the FB group, which is slowly building steam. Theo himself has asked fans to support this, saying please “help me sing for and dance with Ellen!”. So if you could possibly join and/or spread word, it would help a lot.

Hope you don’t mind me bringing you just a little more Theo. Since you’re one who enjoys the emotion of his performance, I thought you would particularly enjoy seeing him performing Missy Higgins’ “Where I Stood” last night (sorry the sound isn’t perfect).
