Now if you asked me, “Neil, do you like Blue Grass?” my answer would probably be No. However my friends and fellow bloggers sometimes surprise me and turn me on to the odd song that is wayyyy off of the techno, disco, dancey spectrum but I will thoroughly enjoy.
A couple weeks ago while reading Jimmy’s blog I was struck again with this song. Not sure what it is about it but I really enjoy it. However each time I start to “listen” to it, I end up “watching” it. I am captivated by the mountain ski slopes and the seemly private lodge. I start imagining myself there by a fire place listening to this guy out on the deck.

Still your friend Neil, and I can’t describe it, this song just hits me in a funny way. I am not saying I will blare this out of my car, or add it to my iTunes, I just have an appreciation for it.

Just thought I better check!!! I love when this happens to me, you just find something that strikes a nerve even though it doesn’t seem to make sense with the person you think you are.
