Really? I mean is it really necessary for you to ring your bike bell all the time? Even in no brainer, unnecessary circumstances?
I was walking to work this morning in true bliss, smelling all the wonderful after rain smells and the new rose petals that have popped up since the rain. Then on a complete straight wide open section of the path *BING* and jolted me out of my bliss. I walk right on the far right edge of the path every morning, I never stray, and these people pass me every morning. It is blatantly obvious that I am not listening to my iPod because I haven’t replaced it yet. If I did have ear phones in I would be DANCING to work not WALKING!
So I settled back into my morning meditative walk and *BING* the safety man whizzes past! I mean you can’t not hear him coming, he coughs, he wears flashing lights, neon leg bands, bright red shirt, and his bike makes a clicking sound. All of that I can deal with but the unnecessary bing! Don’t get me wrong there is a time and a place for a bell, such as on corners. I use my bell when I ride my bike.
Binging unwarranted is my tipping point!
