As I walked home today in the 26 degree weather I looked at the tall wide blades of grass and thought “I can’t remember what it sounds like when you put a piece of grass between your thumbs and blow”. I almost let that thought go and then I realized that if I stopped for two seconds to be a kid I could find out.
So I bent down, grabbed the grass and blew! I also scared the hell out of the ladies ahead of me on the path. LOL I love still being a kid!
Then I got to the giant staircase out of the river valley. In the morning on every fifth step there was a Kokanee beer bottle. 8 hours later on my way home the beer bottles were still there… Do you know how many people had to walk by those bottles and do NOTHING? In the morning I left them because I wasn’t walking toward the garbage/recycle and I had nothing to carry them. On the way home I had a plastic bag so I picked them up and brought them home for the bottle depot. Where they will more than likely jip me $0.25, but in a previous post we agreed not to care. I love being an adult!
So I challenge you to be a bit kid, and a bit adult everyday. However take the best from both worlds! Don’t start throwing irrational temper tantrums and complaining about the weather.
