Huggable, Loveable, UNBELIEVABLE! (*Diamond Rio song “Kissable” for those that didn’t catch the reference!
Here is my frosty Canadian New Year’s Eve Kiss to each and everyone of you reading this post!
OK some slight digital editing may have occurred but those are my real lips, and it is a real picture, taken tonight for you on New Year’s Eve!
My plans were many this year and some of you know I was holding out on accepting any and all plans because I knew deep down inside I was getting kissed this year. All of the invites I had didn’t have a strong possibility of “real” kiss. I was bound to get pecs and maybe even kisses on the lips from friends but this New Year’s I had something else in mind.
Then out of the blue last night it all started to come together. I had plans! These plans involved meeting someone new! This plans involved meeting someone cute! These plans were about meeting them New Year’s Eve! All was well in the world of Neil. Then tonight came, no plans were firmed up, I had heard nothing, I was giving up hope and just as I was aborting plan “Kissable” and reaching for my book of hexes (joke)(but if you have one let me know)(LOL joke again)(or is it…) Anyways his text message came in. We were on!
So I got showered, and dressed super fast, headed out for a great evening. Got to see lots of friends, went to both Boots and Play, had some champagne did some dancing. Got some friend kisses and hugs, received some great New Year’s Eve text messages from all over the world, and answered a phone call from the Queen of the East in Montréal with Happy New Year’s wishes!
The icing on the night was the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 WHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR’S!!!!!! *KISS*
I am glad I braved the -23 for all that, and I hope that where ever you are you had just as magical a night and made it home safe! If whatever you did wasn’t perfect, make up for it and have an AWESOME
Yeah, I am so happy you got what you wanted for New Years! Can’t wait to hear the particulars. I however was in bed by 12:01, after watching movies with my Mom, Dad and Brother (whoohoo, party girl). I just can’t shake this stupid cold. I was expecting to get to read your review of Slumdog Millionaire today.
