Two of our friends landed the Honeymoon Suite at the Park Place Inn in Jasper. The Butcher, the Baker and the Candlestick maker couldn’t resist checking out the jet tub.
On numerous occasions I forgot to snag a group shot to commemorate this trip, This photo from Evil Dave’s restaurant was the closest my camera came. (The food at Evil Dave’s is great! Both the “Mad Cow” (lasagna in a gold panning bowl) and the “Glad Cow” (Veggie lasagna) come highly recommended!)
This last photo was taken in the lobby of the Athabasca Hotel and completes our group. Affectionately known as “The Atha-B” it is my favorite hotel to stay at in Jasper. Located in the heart of town, great rates, and cozy clean rooms. They even the option for lower rate rooms with shared bathrooms if you are really on a budget. The hotel is also home to a great pub that is frequented by many “townies”. So if you are a light sleeper you may wish to book in advance to request a room that isn’t above the pub. That way when you stumble away from the party, you don’t bring it with you.
