Well we finally got some good old fashioned Canadian weather in Edmonton including some snow. I think deep down inside even though we all shiver, curse ourselves for forgetting to wear gloves, and slip and slide on the ice our bodies are at ease that we have a normal weather pattern.
I had a CRAZY fun coincidence happen this morning on my way to the bus. I was listening to my ipod, Kylie Minogue came on and it was techno remix of “Can’t Get You Out of My Head”. So I was dancing in the alley behind my apartment. I was kicking up the snow beneath my feet as I danced and suddenly a plane flew overhead REALLY LOW! It was so low that the strobe lights from the bottom of the plane where bouncing and reflecting off all of the snow!
For that brief moment that alley behind my home was transformed into a Disco complete with strobe lights and I was loving it!
Winter was wonderful…
Then I got to the bus stop where the bus was late, then it broke down in the cold at my stop, so we all had to get off after waiting 15 mins on the bus to keep warm and squish our entire busload of people onto the next bus.
Winter was now only mildly amusing! 😉
