9th date & counting

Things have been progressing at a nice pace for me with my new relationship. It seems funny writing this blog because I now know he is a reader of the site. We will use the all powerful descriptive word of “He” for now since I forgot to ask him if I can use his real name yet. All that said, I still plan on writing this post like I normally would have.

As you can see this is the most successful string of dates I have had in 3 years. He is slowly getting more and more access to my life, for our 6th date I took him to my cabin (Something many of my close friends still haven’t experienced), we have had numerous coffee dates, and we have been out dancing. Dancing at the bar wasn’t very successful only for the reason that all the bars in Edmonton were strangely dead that night. Tonight I am excited to see him after work as we go to see his new downtown apartment and pick up the keys.

PS Since I mentioned in the “3rd date & counting” post that the goodnight hug occurred, I thought I wouldn’t leave you all hanging and confess that the goodnight kiss happened on date 4 and it was magical and memorable.

Well the cabin date was sort of a picnic idea but instead of the wine, cheese, and bread you suggested it was veggie burgers, salad, strawberries, and sparkling pink lemonade :-)

For the record, I have never been to the cabin. Of course it could have something to do with the fact that I have an extreme phobia about outhouses. LOL But still…

    Oooh this is exciting.
I know it can be a scary thing to put yourself out there but I’m happy for you that things are going well so far.
Can’t wait for the prospect of more blogs on this mystery man in the future (or perhaps better yet a chance to hear about him in person??).
    Hugs,
    Les
