Sometimes when it is -35 degrees Celsius out with the wind chill you need to treat yourself to flowers. Go on you deserve it! Flowers as gifts or for events can be extravagant but for budget friendly ideas I like to see what is in season for cut flower bundles at your local florist or grocery store. These tulips were grown in BC, Canada the province next door to me and were only $10 CAD. The customer service clerk at the grocery store even happily ran over to wrap them up good and tight to make the cold drive home. You can see here that one bloom was bent but even it is beautiful for as long as it wants to shine! They are in my kitchen and make me smile every time I walk into that room.
