Maybe I have been reading too much of the "A court of thorns and roses"* series but as soon as I saw this photo taking in Xcaret, Mexico I imagined myself as a parrot version of the Illyrians but with colourful feathers instead of bat like wings. These wings were even more beautiful in person, I was glad to find them before ending my day at this incredible adventure park! The photo package Xcaret offers might seem a bit pricey but I took a gamble and was very pleased with all the amazing photos their camera people and automated camera stations produced. If you add this feature to your vacation be sure to scan your bracelet at ALL the locations with the yellow circular symbol, even if you aren't sure, give it a go and be surprised!

Pro tips:

• Purchase your photo package before you go for a discount and so it is paid for before your trip #VacationMath
• Spot the camera before scanning your wristband to plan your pose
• Take multiple shots at the same location (you can sort them later to keep your favourites)
• Everyone wants to capture the perfect shot, get yours! Even if that means taking your first photo, letting a family take theirs and then going again!
• In the underground river space yourself out so your photos have less chances of capturing other visitors. If you do get someone in your photo use Apple Clean Up or Google Magic Eraser later when you get home
