Or rather your time to think about bottoms is up! You may remember last Sunday I wrote about my discovery in a hostel that the English language has A LOT of words for referring to a “BUTT”.
Well I told you then that I was able to come up with 23 words and I would disclose them today. Since no one was able to come up with more than 23 words I am now challenging you to see if you had a word that is missing from my list…
# | Word | # | Word | # | Word |
1 | Butt | 11 | Bottom | 21 | Rear |
2 | Rump | 12 | Derrière | 22 | Badonkadonk |
3 | Tush | 13 | Bum | 23 | Backside |
4 | Ass | 14 | Cheeks | 24 | Bootay |
5 | Posterior | 15 | Seat | ![]() |
|
6 | Glutes | 16 | Caboose | ||
7 | Hiney | 17 | Buttocks | ||
8 | Keistor | 18 | Fanny | ||
9 | Buns | 19 | Gluteus Maximus | ||
10 | Booty | 20 | Arse |
Well would you look at that! In typing up the post I managed to find one more word! The challenge is to you now. Can you think of number 25?

Fergie uses Humps, Lumps, and mentions her Trunk, so, 26, 27 and 28?

I am gonna give you #26 as Trunk because I was debating on that one because it is referred to as such in the saying “Junk in the Trunk”. The extra Fergie reference cinches that. As for Humps, and Lumps I am going to disqualify as they are not general common terms and are most likely used in that song as Breasts 😉

she says her humps and lumps are in the back and in the front, so i think they should count

WOW! How I missed that I don’t know, I even had to go back to my list to make sure I hadn’t missed typing it. You are right and “Behind” is now number #27. Way to go! Anyone have #28?

Then there is ‘can’ as in kicked in the can.

Well you definitely get “Tail” so that is #28!
However “can” I am gonna wait on. I have never heard it referred to as can and I checked with a few other people. We will see if more people comment to agree with you.

I was all excited to award you the #29 spot for “Seat” but I noticed it is already in the grid as #15. Points for the resourcefulness and research though

…thought about it and finally, after 6 months, i came up with a few. unfortunately, behind, seat and tail were already mentioned. BUT, what about “fundament”, “sit-upon” (two words.. but still..?) and “haunches”???
