Superbowl Post-game Blog

Here is my quick Superbowl XLIII wrap-up including two commercials.

• I love when they super impose fake billboards on the stadium, but in Canada this year we had some fake CTV ads that were meant to look like the crowd flipping up signs to spell things. Kinda got lame after the 50th time
• Pittsburgh Steelers got a touchdown in Q1 that was overturned. That made me happy
• Then the Steelers scored a field goal and started Q2 with a touchdown. Score: 10-0
• Q2 was boring until the end with and exciting TD by Arizona. Score: 10-7
• Then Pittsburgh made an INCREDIBLE play!!! They pulled off the first 100 yard, cross the entire field touchdown in Superbowl history. Score: 17-7

Then we had the halftime show with Bruce Springsteen. Who picks these halftime show acts? I must admit thought that when he ended with “Glory Days” that was pretty good.

Now my first Superbowl commercial. I couldn’t find the uncut extended version they played for Superbowl but this one is very close.

Second half:

• Pittsburgh makes 6 attempts at a TD and 2 kicks and finally makes the kick. Score 20-7
• Beautiful TD Arizona. Score 20-14
• OMG just a beautiful on the edge of my seat 4th Quarter! The Cardinals were up and the Score was now 20-23
• Standing up for the last minute and could barely watch as the Steelers pulled it together for one of the wildest Superbowl wins. Final Score 27-23 for Pittsburgh.
