Forgetting…

Friday night I saw one of the funniest movies!

Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) Rating: ★★★★☆
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Billed as “The Ultimate Romantic Disaster Movie” it had me laughing out loud on more than one occasion. Besides hilarious lines, scenes, and good actors there were two extra things that made me love this movie enough to give it 4 out of 5 stars.

  • I am a big fan of movies that are 2 hours or longer. This movie was exactly 2 hours. It didn’t run slow, and it left me feeling that I was happy I got to spend 2 hours watching it
  • It didn’t follow that overproduced standard storyline we see so much in this type of comedy so you couldn’t predict the storyline all the time

Ohhhh… and one other thing *grin* FULL FRONTAL! LOL You get to see ALL of Jason Segel on more than one occasion. Below is an example shot from the movie but with the black box removed of course. I added it to keep this somewhat safe for work.

I had one more photo from this movie I was going to post, but thinking of half of this blog’s audience I decided against it. This movie features my favorite sexual position in a montage with Sarah Marshall and her new boyfriend. I will let the interested parties watch the movie and try to pick it out. LOL

Experiencing…

The second movie I watched this weekend was Transformers (2007)
Rating: ★★★½☆
I always avoided this movie because they weren’t a toy that I played with growing up, and the “exploding action figure epic” isn’t a genre I often enjoy. However Saturday morning, I was in bed, it was on the movie channel so I gave it a chance. Well it was pretty good. I enjoyed the humor, the acting was good, and the special effects you have to admire. All that said, I still have to only say I liked it. For me to love it, it would have had to move a bit faster. Some really dragged out scenes.

Remembering…

Sunday I spent many hours doing paperwork and clearing off my desk so I can see the keyboard now as I type this. This activity was great for remembering. So many forgotten about tasks I wanted to do and threw on my desk. Some blog ideas I forgot about that will be making there way here soon. Also some travel memorabilia I found from my 2008 trips.

However the biggest remembering task I did was go through a STACK of old photos. I needed to find one specific photo of Jackie and myself but in doing so I think I flipped through about 2,000 pictures. They ranged in age from 1998 – 2008, so many good memories from those photos. I encourage you all to spend sometime checking out your old photos. Doing so seems to help give you direction for the future and experiences you want to have for future photos.

I really liked Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I didn’t really know who Jason Segal was before that movie but after I went out and bought Season 1,2 and 3 of How I Met Your Mother so I could see more of him, I enjoy him very much.

Um… Michelle.. I don’t think you can see much more of Jason Segal than you do in Forgetting Sarah Marshall… lol. Hehe. Sorry I couldn’t resist 🙂
