This morning in the shower there was a fly. I can’t ever recall having a fly in my house oddly enough. The occasional spider or bug yes, but I think this was my first fly. Now Instead of trying to kill the fly I commenced operation “Make the fly drown!”
Those suckers do way better than a spider. Down came the rain and didn’t wash the fly out! No matter how much water I threw at him he kept on flying. I used shampoo bottles to block his escape routes at the edges of the shower curtain. I hit him with my hand a few times and then he was missing… Put a damper on things because I assumed he escaped or I missed the swirly joy of his demise.
In my preoccupation I had no clue how long I had been in the shower! That one fly messed up my entire morning routine. Now I had to hustle to make my bus. So I shaved quickly (never a good idea), shampoo, rinse, conditioner, rinse… Then out of the corner of my eye I saw the fly spinning around by the drain! I was so excited and the day is back on track! Made my bus and everything!
