A couple of days ago on twitter I tweeted…
EatingLifeUp forgot how annoying it is having someone stay the night when you wake up early and they don’t.
This seemed like a topic that warranted more than a tweet! While sleepovers can be fun they have their significant drawbacks. Does anyone have thoughts, special tricks to combat these drawbacks, or comments to add to this list?
- You both wake up at different times (more a problem if you wake up first)
- Little things around the house end up in different places (like the soap)
- You wonder who’s drink is who’s (OK I know, that was a picky one, but when you live alone this isn’t an issue LOL)
- They now know where you live (Paranoid, but can be an issue)
- You have to inform them that this is your side of the bed (Right side btw)
- The throw off body heat like no tomorrow (I am a cool sleeper)
LOL reading that list I am surprised I even have friends! So that said the sleepover also has some bonuses…
- Someone is there when you wake up (Ugh! Did I just write that)
- You get to share your space with someone and experience your home all over again
- If you need a little heat they are only a few inches away
I look forward to your thoughts blog readers! Am I alone in these thoughts? Too harsh? Or did I sugar coat it too much?
You get used to being alone so quickly. It is always weird when my roomate comes back in the fall. Things are not where I left them in the morning, there are dishes in the sink I didn’t use, I can’t just pick up the phone and dial, it takes a couple weeks to get used to again and I also don’t get the benefits you mentioned above.

Hi Neil!!!
Oh my it seems that we need to talk, I had no idea. Also no matter what you tell me about the benefits of twitter I will not sign up. Facebook is about the only thing I can handle right now I don’t have time for anymore networking.
I work tomorrow until 630 pm but then I’m going to the pool for a 730 class. Should you care to join in just text me 🙂
