Well less devastated now than I was Friday night. In case you haven’t heard already via twitter I have officially lost my iPod Touch!
My searching of the car, my apartment and all the gutters of Edmonton and Sherwood Park turned up nothing. No one has returned it to me, and my police report hasn’t developed into anything yet and likely will not.
I never knew how much it meant to me until it was gone. I listen to that thing through my stereo at home, on the bus or walking to and from work, at my desk, in the car, on holidays, even on the plane! I think the worst part though was that it was also connected to my e-mail, my Facebook, and countless applications. This meant I had to change all my passwords.
This morning I tried to use my old mp3 player but it just wasn’t the same. I just got back from my first run of the year and went without music just cause. May you NEVER loose your iPod, cell phone, mp3 player, CD player, whatever your equivalent is.
On the positive side I didn’t buy it for myself, I bought it using points in a reward program at work. I might be able to earn enough points again to replace it before my big trip in September. If not, I also entered two contests right now where I have a chance to win one! Wish me luck!
Good Luck!

I have just started to use my iPod and am starting to depend on it so I can imagine what you are going through. Kind of like a lost limb, I have my fingers crossed for its safe return.

boo….I know how that feels and it’s not a good one. I’ve been thinking about getting a touch maybe we can find a two for one deal….but I’m guessing we’re both out of luck. I have no money for fluffy things like this right now.
